  We took another couple to view my 37 art prints hanging on display in a Chase City, Virginia museum. It was a nice day trip that needed a special meal to top it off before meandering back home.
  I was looking for another restaurant when I remembered a great place in La Crosse, Virginia right out of the larger South Hill, Kahill’s! It wasn’t on the corner as before and then I remembered that Kahill’s moved and having already passed it, I did a bat turn.
  The four of us were greeted by the most pleasant waitress, Samantha. She could tell we were hungry and got some of the freshest, most flavorful salads out to us that I’ve had in a very long time.
  From shrimp and grits, to seafood Alfredo, to another couple of delectable combinations, all four of us raved about the excellent cuisine and how everything just came together to smack and satisfy our taste buds.
  The chef, Josh, came out to greet us and to ensure our meals were good and we gave him high compliments, as well as owner Tom Flowers whose run the restaurant for more than 25 years that he created and he named using his mother’s maiden name.
  As I had stopped by there years ago with Virginia clients, it had been a while. It was great to taste and to be served at even higher levels than I remembered. Congratulations to Tom Flowers and all the good folks at Kahill’s! Tell them the Timberlake’s sent you when you go.

  I would have to say I am done with this place. I come to South Hill a few times a year and am always let down by something. The last two times they had no draft beer as advertised along with the fact it's to pricey for the quality.

  Pretty good experience. Love the diversity of the menu. My wife and I sat at the bar and received very good service. Ordered an app, Big Bang Shrimp and it was pretty good, on par with Bonefish Grill's.
  The local wine was very nice and complimented our meals well. Not sure where some of the other reviewers eat that said the food was high priced but these rates seem comparable with similar quality levels of food. Just in town for work/pleasure, but would definitely return to this establishment.
